Araya, the world’s only Chilean South Pacific restaurant to receive a Michelin star, is thrilled to announce the launch of two new dining options, starting December 2024.
The newly introduced à la carte menu, exclusively available for lunch from Wednesday to Saturday, allows diners to curate their own dining experience, exploring the bold flavours and coastal bounty of Araya’s Chilean South Pacific cuisine. This flexible format reflects the chefs’ heritage and culinary vision, featuring highlights such as empanadas filled with beef or abalone, ceviches made with taigairai, kimeidai, or hotate, and mains like picanha beef with aged cacao sauce. Guests can also enjoy hearty rice dishes such as chorizo, lobster with fish maw, or pigeon with foie gras, before concluding their meal with a decadent chocolate tart or a refreshing seasonal fruit dessert.
For those seeking a curated experience, Araya presents the Taste of Araya menu — a five-course journey priced at $168, available for both lunch and dinner. Thoughtfully crafted by Chef-Partners Francisco Araya and Fernanda Guerrero, this menu showcases the restaurant’s most celebrated creations, blending bold flavours with refined presentation. Highlighting the unique ingredients and techniques that define Araya’s Chilean South Pacific roots, the Taste of Araya offers diners an elevated introduction to the restaurant’s culinary philosophy. This new offering joins Araya’s signature Costa and Andes menus, further expanding the dining options available for guests to explore the restaurant’s diverse and innovative approach to modern fine dining.
Located within The Mondrian, Araya’s intimate 30-seat dining space provides the perfect setting for these new dining options, combining elevated gastronomy with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. These additions reflect Araya’s mission to make its Michelin-starred offerings more accessible while continuing to celebrate the rich bounty of Chile’s Pacific coastline.
Reservations for both the à la carte menu and the Taste of Araya menu are now open.
