The BINTM contestants and winner Jade Thompson performed their first ever live catwalk production on Friday and I was lucky enough to have VIP seats to the whole show. Seated just behind judges Charley Speed and Grace Woodward, my PA and myself spent the hour watching the catwalk…in awe.
This was such an amazing production, the models were outstanding as were the dancers, designers and choreography. To compliment the stunning girls were a group of male dancers who performed, strutted their stuff along the catwalk and one even roller-skated the length of the runway, bobbing and weaving in and out of the models.
The dresses were sensational, the shoes were enviable and the moves were awesome. I’m not going over-the-top here, it genuinely was. At one point, the lasses and lads were split into white and black outfits, and came together in the middle to form a giant chess board, and proceeded to move as if a game of chess were being played, to finally leave two Kings to ‘fight’ (dance) it out at the end. As if this wasn’t enough, we were also greeted with performances by singers Bluey Robinson and Luminates, who incorporated their routine into the runway. With large screens either end, a runway running the length of the stadium with a centre stage, it was difficult to know what to watch, in case you looked left but missed out on the action far right! I have nothing but praise for the show and can see how much hard work would have gone in behind the scenes to put on such a huge production. The photos don’t do it justice, but it’s worth having a cheeky look anyway!
Amazing photos…so jealous!!
