Yesterday was the opening press day of the hugely eagerly awaited BINTM Live Show ’11, and boy what a day! Arriving for 10:30am at the ExCel with my PA in toe (as always!) to collect the S&LC VIP press passes…the doors were flung open 11am sharp and so the madness began!
With a jam-packed press schedule from start to finish, it was no wonder by the end of the day I was beyond exhausted! However, I can honestly say it was completely worth it.
First, we were greeted with an open photo call with Jade Thompson, this year’s stunning winner and the show’s judges Grace Woodward and Charley Speed…along with all the other beautiful contestants. Then it was straight to the Kiss Open Catwalk for continual productions throughout the day that included the first exclusive preview of ex TOWIE star Amy Child’s brand new clothing collection (article & images to follow, don’t panic!), fashion show by the ever delightful Joey Bevan, discussions on stage by both guest judges, demonstration from HOB Salons, performance by Hatty Keane and last (but not least) appearance from my lovely gal pal Lauren Goodger, who turned up with Frankie Essex for her stall there to promote ‘Lauren’s Way‘ (the tan bottles I had in my press event goody bags!). I got to grab some time with my fellow fashionista Eve-Yasmine too, who rocked THE outfit of the day…see photos below and you’ll agree!
Phew! All the while, we’re browsing the stalls inside the huge stadium, scanning new fashion and beauty brands. My new favourite is ‘A Head of Hair‘ who kindly gave myself and my PA a feather hair extension. Yes…you heard, a feather hair extension! It’s clamped into the hair with pliers, can be washed, straightened, curled and you can have an array of coloured feathers! I went for some natural (ish) feathers. This is, of course, not to mention the main BINTM Live Tour Catwalk Production (article to follow), which was AMAZING. Out of this world fabulous…but I’ll get to that in another feature article!
