Burma Social Launches New Menu Celebrating Pan-Asian Culinary Heritage in its Feast of Six Kingdoms

Burma Social, Singapore’s first multicultural restaurant and bar offering a unique Feast of Six Kingdoms, unveils a fresh new menu that introduces innovative flavours, while building on the foundation of its celebrated signatures and bestsellers.

Traditional Burmese recipes, elevated with modern Pan-Asian infusions from its bordering Chinese, Thai, Indian, Bangladeshi, and Laotian neighbours, now expand further eastward with Japanese influences for a culinary feast that celebrates the rich tapestry of historical Silk Road flavours.

Available at both Burma Social locations in Tras Street and Siglap, look forward to new Baos and Dim Sum like Truffle Edamame & Chilli Foam with a delicate soft potato starch skin casing, Thai Chilli Chestnut Chicken – a vibrant red-hued Thai Chilli wrapper filled with chicken, chestnuts, and coriander root, served alongside a lifting plum sauce.

New Silk Road Delicacies delivers the likes of Khakhra, a creative twist on guacamole with tomato salsa and Indian spices accompanied by crispy khakhra Indian crackers, and Burmese Tacos of tempura-fried Avocado with tea leaf kimchi.

Spreading its influence to the Far East, a new Sushi Rolls category adds Japan to Burma Social’s nation list. The Piquillo Wild Roll combines Piquillo pepper, asparagus, and pickled radish together with vibrant chilli mango salsa, and the Crispy Tempura Avocado Maki drizzled with spicy teriyaki sauce makes for the perfect prelude to new mains.

Opt for the Coastal Crab Curry of house-made Malvani coconut curry and semolina-coated soft-shell crab, served with warm Indian ladi pav bread, or the Rangoon Laphet in Hot Stone, a Burmese classic of fragrant pickled tea leaves and vegetable fried rice in a smoky hot stone pot.
