If you’re planning to have a night out in celebration of life returning to somewhat normal terms again, London is the only place to go. If you have watched the news lately or perhaps looked at some social media posts, London is buzzing right now. All of the things we love about life, are returning to us with open welcoming arms. Every restaurant, club, theatre, and night-time attraction wants to see you in person again. Here are just some of the things you should travel down to London for, and enjoy for the weekend.
Outdoor seating restaurants
There are hundreds of restaurants in London, but only some have outdoor seating. It’s important to go for an al fresco dining experience now, not just because it will be compliant with current legislation, but because an evening meal in London should be enjoyed among the architecture. Being stuffed inside, you feel like you could be anywhere. But when you are outdoors in London, the atmosphere, lights, people and the buildings give you a vibe and experience unlike any other. Here are some of the outdoor restaurants.
Angler: A Michelin-starred restaurant that does superb seafood. Oysters, crab, lobster and sea bass dishes are their specialty. They also have some great white wines, specifically for seafood.
Bleeding Heart: Rustic French cuisine and a bistro-like menu, this restaurant has plenty of space outside to sit, eat, drink and observe the world around you.
Cafe Boheme: It’s coffee is amazing but more importantly, it has amazing French red wine, cold meat, bread, cheese, olives and classic French dishes such as steak frites.
Buckingham Palace Garden
Buckingham Palace always has the best garden during this time of year. The hot sun and the occasional downpour, create the perfect atmosphere for flowers to bloom with zeal and strength. The garden is open to the public, who can stroll around the marvelous statues and sculptures of past monarchs. The gates will be cleaned and polished, along with the lights that are placed around the palace. It makes for the perfect early evening or sunset stroll after you’ve seen a theatre performance or restaurant meal.
Getting home
London is a very big city and incredibly busy. So getting home by public transport after you’ve had a few drinks is not always recommended. It’s going to be busy, hot, muggy and noisy. Instead, you should consider a taxi service that is local, reliable and trusted by local residents. It’s an award-winning fleet for it’s efficiency and green vehicles, so that’s also a win. Their vehicles have disabled access and other accessibility features for people who might be old, or just slightly weak in the legs due to a few too many glasses of wine.
Life seems to be getting back to the norm and London is the best place to see it all unveiled. There’s no shortage of things to do and one of them is to enjoy a meal outdoors to experience the food and the city atmosphere at once.
