There was a futuristic, pastel dystopian theme to the Dans La Vie show. Thigh high, see through plastic boots worn over ‘fall out sky’ printed leggings paired with mustard coats and jackets with very strategically placed chest adornments. A fellow showgoer described them as ‘fried egg boobs’.
The designs were quirky to say the least and focused on plush fabrics and loud prints. What really stood out was the hair and make-up.
Amazing metallic blues and oranges, high crimped half updos and a bold mix of colours. Artwork at its best.
