London Fashion Week: Malan Breton S/S 2018

Dark, epic and downright dramatic music rang out as the Malan Breton show opened to a string of pastel suit-clad models gliding seductively down the catwalk. Flares were the trouser cut of choice for both men and women, with shiny satin, snakeskin and pleather co-ords looking unisex fabulous.

The showstoppers came in the form of a sheer, midnight blue Scarlett O’Hara inspired ball gown and a shorter black leather version that stunned the audience in equal measure. You could hear a collective intake of breath as they appeared.

Sparkly fabrics, feathers and the most delicious hue of honey mustard yellow are trends we’re most looking forward to incorporate into our wardrobes next season.

Oh, and Malan, thank you for THAT mermaid skirt.
