If your weekends lately have looked less reset and more rinse-and-repeat, may I tempt you with a different kind of escape? Imagine a quiet pocket of coastline just outside Da Nang, where time bends to the cadence of your breath, your body, and the gentle return of your creative spark. This is TIA Wellness Resort — a place that transforms ordinary weekend rest into something richer, slower, and far more meaningful.
Why TIA Feels Like the Ultimate Short Getaway

At TIA, wellness isn’t an amenity — it’s the architecture of your stay. Their Wellness Inclusive package is built for the kind of weekend you wish lasted longer: two curated wellness treatments per night (80 minutes total), and daily movement or mindfulness classes spanning breathwork, Vinyasa, Hatha yoga, HIIT, and creative workshops that invite self-expression back into the body.

The wellness centre itself is a destination within a destination — 22 treatment rooms, saunas, hydrotherapy suites, indoor yoga studios, and a lush tropical garden anchored by a waterfall. And rather than simply “staying” at the resort, you retreat into a private pool villa, each opening to its own courtyard garden and shimmering pool — a cocoon of calm that makes slipping into retreat mode almost involuntary.
Check out below my exact weekend wellness schedule, to see everything I got to experience within just a 3-day, 2-night stay:
A Weekend of Release, Flow & Creation
Day 1 Saturday – Release & Reset

Arrive, unpack, exhale. We landed at 1:30pm and arrived at the resort by 2pm – a wonderfully short cab ride away from the main Da Nang airport. After an effortless check-in, we’re shown (in monsoon rain!) under umbrellas to our stunning 3-room villa, with our pool facing the ocean front. Whilst we loved being here during a cosy monsoon season, I can definitely see how gorgeous this would be in sunshine too.
The first unwinding begins in the spa — with 80 minutes of wellness treatments each daily, I opted for Stretch & Release Body Massage (50 mins) and Crystal Wand Foot Reflexology (30 mins) in a bid to try new massage techniques I’ve yet to explore. They were as incredible as I could imagine, and I adored being able to roam around the resort in our hooded spa robes provided in each villa, it added an extra ‘relaxation and reset’ mode.
Early evening brings gentle Hatha yoga — grounding, slow, somatic — before drifting into a plant-based dinner (or a personalised meal plan, depending on your package). The night ends not with a full stop, but a soft fade into quiet: villa time, wellness lounge tea, or the sound of your pool breathing back at you under the stars.
Day 2 Sunday – Flow & Create

With breakfast at our leisure, including an option to take it in our villa, we had a calm morning over coffee and the buffet, before heading to out HIIT power workout class 11am – 11:30am. We then had a lovely long gap before our 2:30pm-3:30pm Creative Workshop, so I took the opportunity to nap before a late lunch along the beach front.
Post-sweat hours are designed for creativity: painting, journaling, or workshops that coax expression from the body rather than the mind.
We then took dinner before heading back to the on-site spa for our second 80-minute treatments to close the day — I opted for the Himalayan Heart Stone Body Massage (50 mins) followed by Holistic Head-and-Neck Harmony (30 mins) Optional additions? A quiet wander through the tropical gardens, or Tai Chi by the pool, as day folds gently into dusk.
Day 3 Monday – Final Reboot
We woke early to take breakfast before our 9:30am – 10:30am breathwork class, swiftly followed by another HIIT power workout as we wanted to make the most of all the facilities on our final day. I managed to also squeeze in another spa treatment, and opted for the Hydra Glow Facial (50 mins) to complete my full body – literally head to toe – pampering treatments across the weekend.

A final treat before you check out — maybe a gentle steam or hydrotherapy session. We then checked out and got a cab ride back to the airport before the short 2.5 hours flight to Singapore. We departed feeling more than rested: creatively inspired, centred, and quietly powerful.
Nourish – Food & Beverages that Feel Like a Continuation of the Spa

At TIA, nourishment is part of the treatment plan. Nourish is their wellness-focused kitchen offering a nutrient-dense à la carte menu built around whole, natural ingredients, prepared with techniques that elevate both vitality and flavour. Their guiding philosophy — “Eat Light, Feel Bright” — helps guests choose meals that support energy, digestion, mood, and clarity, with lighter dishes clearly signposted for mindful ordering.

For retreat guests, personalised plant-based meal plans are tailored to individual goals — whether high-protein, raw detox, or intermittent fasting, TIA ensures that eating well feels both intentional and indulgent, never restrictive. The beverage program extends the same ethos: collagen-infused lattes, gut-supporting elixirs, and a carefully curated organic and biodynamic wine list for conscious enjoyment. Breakfast flows all day, at your pace, whether by the pool, in your villa garden, or at the ocean-view bistro or Dining Room — proving that nourishment here is a feeling, not a function.
Why It Works So Well for a Weekend

What makes TIA Wellness Resort feel so right for a short getaway is the completeness of the experience. It’s totally immersive in the best possible way — no external noise, no competing schedules, no mental clutter to negotiate. Wellness here isn’t compartmentalised; it’s balanced. You get a thoughtful treat-and-train rhythm that moves seamlessly between movement, self-expression, and deep rest. The luxury is intentional and calming — the kind that whispers rather than performs, designed to soothe your nervous system, not overstimulate it. Most importantly, TIA gives you more than a weekend escape — it hands you a philosophy, a new internal setting, one that stays with you long after you’ve checked out and stepped back into real life.
Practicalities to Know

Wellness Inclusive stays include breakfast, wellness mini bar, and all listed treatments (up to 80 minutes daily) + classes.
Their Retreat Inclusive package (if you have more time) offers even more depth: a retreat therapy each night, a full plant-based meal plan, and a personal wellness guide who curates your daily schedule.
The wellness centre opens daily from 10:00 to 22:00, so you have plenty of flexible time for treatments.
To book: reach out via their website or email; staying directly often gives you better perks (like early check-in or late check-out).
If you’re craving a weekend where “me time” actually means me time, where you can reset creatively, physically, emotionally — TIA Wellness Resort feels like the kind of destination that gives you back more than a break. It’s a soft reboot, in a villa by a pool, guided by wellness experts — and honestly, what more could a modern soul need?
