It doesn’t take much social media crawling / blog reading to know I’m a HUGE animal rights person. It’s the only thing in this life that gets to my core. Any animal cruelty sets me off, and if I could have one dying wish it would be to dispel all global animal abuse. However unlikely that is to happen, there are certain brands and industry peeps that are trying to combat animal cruelty, such as animal testing in the cosmetics industry. These brands are my ultimate favourites. Enter Paul Mitchell UK.
You only have to head over to their homepage to see how pro-environment they are. In a modern world of take take take, especially from global brands, it’s so refreshing to see these guys be so positive and vocal about protecting the planet. So, products that aren’t tested on animals…are they any good? Actually, they’re AMAZING. I received a delightful hamper in the post that included Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave in Conditioner, Hair Spray, Dry Shampoo, Serum and a Paddle Brush. I haven’t used Paul Mitchell products before so didn’t know what to expect, but went ahead with a good ol’ shower and styling session to see what they’re like. Honestly, my hair has never ever felt so good.
The serum alone works wonders for smoothing split ends and it smells incredible. You know when you put something on your hair / face and it smells so good you want to eat it? Yeah, that. Delicious. The combination of the conditioner and the serum has left my hair so bouncy and soft, but still with clean roots and that ‘blow dry’ feeling. I’d recommend these products to anyone…don’t take my word for it…go try them out!
