Prophetik LFW A/W 2016

Jeff Garner’s collection “Ruins & Renaissance”, will launch on February 21st, 2016 at the Freemason’s Hall during London Fashion Week. What began 14 years ago in Tennessee, Prophetik has evolved from major catwalks to the red carpet. Prophetik’s mission is to enlighten consumers of the harmful effects of synthetic fabrics and petro-chemical dyes in everyday garments and to provide a solution and a vision. “Ruins & Renaissance” is dedicated to Mr. Garner’s daughter, Veda, who passed away this year.

The work of Art can capture the lost. Art triumphs over the destructive power of time taking experiences of life and transforming them in a way that shows understanding and maturity. The “Ruins & Renaissance” collection is inspired by Novelist Proust and Romantic Platonism. The ladies both in the beautiful sensual romantic feminine gowns and also discovered in men’s riding breeches and trousers. Gradient coloring features throughout the collection with all-natural plant and earth-based dyes hailing from indigo, dried indigo leaves, madder root, iron, marigold, osage orange, black walnut, logwood and cochineal and the sustainable fabrics include hemp silk, linen, ramie, organic cottons, peace silk, hemp deinms, vintage French lace, and reclaimed leather.
