Sex and London City scoops winner slot at iVisa Global Blogger Awards 2017

Crack that Prosecco – we’ve only gone and won an award!!!

Without you we’d merely be 3 lonely editors writing to a vacant cavern of interweb, so not to go overly mushy or owt, but it’s sort of – okay COMPLETELY, down to you guys.

So what have we won?? The iVisa Global Blogger Awards recognises bloggers of merit and high quality content from around the world, so we’re over the moon to be awarded a place in the UK lifestyle category.

Check out this sweet gold badge we get

Here’s a little on what they said about us and in particular, our favourite Singaporean queen bee Nix.

Nixalina is an extraordinary writer. Her writing style is honest and appealing. She gives the best tips when it comes to relationships and sex life, which is why she has so many visitors each month. She has been called the ‘Carrie Bradshaw’ of London, which is not something to be looked at lightly. That is quite the achievement.

The blog itself looks flawless. The articles are informative and very well written. You can read a lot of useful information.

N’aww.

Nixalina wants to personally thank each and every reader for continuing to follow Sex & London City and enjoying the content the brand uploads. Whilst she no longer contributes as she is now an Editor many many many miles away in Singapore, I touched base with her and she said:

I am overwhelmed, nay, OVER-OVERWHELMED that my blog is still, 7 years on, winning awards and receiving global recognition. Nothing beats some honest journalism and witty articles with some brutal honesty that the internet so very badly needs these days. SALC prides itself on real reviews, real experiences and REAL people behind it. This award I cannot take any credit for – Holly Earp and Megan Crehan deserve it all. Two excellent Editors who have excelled in more ways than I ever imagined.

P.s Anyone wanna come visit me in Singapore? The door is always open and the pool is always wet!

So there we have it. Congrats to all the other winners, and again to YOU lovely folk reading this for being the reason we carry on nattering in blog post form. Hmm, and the door is always open eh??? I’ll race you to that pool – last to the inflatable swan is a SUCKAAAAA.
