When I was approached about joining in with this campaign, it was the easiest yes I’ve ever given to a brand. Festival Fashion asked if I would collaborate with them on an exciting project in association with Young Minds Charity. They asked if I would be happy to design my very own tee that would be for sale on their online shop which will help raise money for the charity. Can I get a hell yes!
And so the process began in which I created my very own ‘Nixalina’ top. I wanted something that would be easy to wear in the Summer (now it’s arrived) and fits in with my own hippie style and reflects who I am. So obviously it had to contain a brightly coloured feather! I decided to use my Anglo Saxon runes tattoo on my chest as it means something really personal to me as well as fitting in nicely with the brand image too:
“Set your wild heart free”
My best friend Holly Earp designed the top for me – making the peacock feather sparkling purple and the runes a metallic silver. There is also a purple feather situated on the back of the top too, as I like that extra attention to detail. Without further ado, here it is:
I chose the Bardot crop top style because I just love wearing them and I think they’re so flattering on all shapes and sizes with that beautiful shoulder and neck exposure. For that extra special festival vibe, I teamed it up with Dust and Dance face glitter which I LOVE and wish I could wear every damn day:
With every sale, 50% of the money will go directly to Young Minds Charity – a charity that focuses on the mental health and wellbeing of the younger generation. Having previously suffered from anxiety and knowing soooooo many people who also have, this charity resonates with me and is a great cause.
So, The Nixalina Top is ready to buy, designed personally by myself, helps charity and is a steal £22! Every single picture I receive of people wearing my top will be posted onto all my social media and the best one will get a very special gift from me.
