Vogue’s Fashion Night Out

Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is the annual pre London Fashion Week party, a stroke of genius evening first instigated by the legendary Anna Wintour to give a little extra boost to the Retailers.  All the major brands put on a party; showcasing their new A/W ’12 collections and promoting the fashion and beauty industry in general.

FNO is always a chaotic, hectic, crowded evening of fashionable frolics and I absolutely love it.  Everyone takes to the streets of the West End creating an atmosphere any festival would be envious of.  We’re all dressed up to the max and tottering about sipping champagne in one store, then hopping onto the next.  The press are always in a frenzy as the stars come out to play alongside all the great names in the fashion world.  It really is such an epic night.

This year, I went with my publicist Karena Sedgwick and my best girl Supermodel Sophie Louise Anderton. We stayed mainly around Bond Street and Old Bond Street, starting off at the Burlington Arcade for our first flute of champagne.  We then went to Tiffany, Dior, DKNY, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Aspinal.  It was exhausting!  But so much fun.  I also bumped into my fav model boys Bebe Kaye and Edward Williams; which is lucky considering the hoards on the streets make life difficult to meet up with people.

I was wearing a dress from the House of Dereon; brand by Beyonce.  With a mesh V line at the front, I felt rather exposed and pretty conscious of the fact that I couldn’t wear a bra either, but I got so many compliments for it so it was a wise choice.  This dress was kindly gifted to me by Pushka Fashion, who have some amazing bits that I’ll be nabbing for future events!  Pushka Fashion also dressed Karena in a hot Aqua number. I teamed my leather panelled dress with a feather chain chunky necklace by A Weathered Penny because we all know an accessory can make or break an outfit.  To finish this off, I shoved on some new silly-high unbearably painful heels and I was sorted!
