As part of its continued evolution as a music-led lifestyle destination, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove announces the launch of After Dark, a new music series that brings W Hotels’ global music pillar to life through international DJ programming and elevated late-night hospitality.
Since W Hotels was founded in 1998, music has been a defining pillar of the brand. With After Dark, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove curates evenings that unfold naturally into the night, where refined nightlife energy meets the hotel’s signature approach to experiential hospitality. Each edition is led by an international DJ, reinforcing W Hotels’ commitment to spotlighting global sounds while fostering meaningful connections between music, place, and people.
The debut edition of After Dark will take place on February 7, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., headlined by Christi McGarry, better known as DJ XI. Born in Jersey City and raised between New York and cities around the world, the Filipina DJ eventually found her creative home in Manila. From underground venues to beach clubs and festivals across Asia and Europe, XI takes revelers on a journey filled with unexpected twists, blending tropical rhythms, punchy basslines, and raw city breaks. Her sound strikes a delicate balance between the primal and the sultry, continually pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
DJ XI is joined by some of Singapore’s leading nightlife talents, including Erin Khan, a Singaporean DJ and founder of Through The Backdoor, known for her deep, melodic techno and house sets influenced by artists such as Dixon and Jan Blomqvist; RPDM, a Singapore-based DJ and curator recognized for his emotive, groove-driven sets blending deep house, soulful rhythms, and melodic techno; and Zafirah, the first female resident DJ at CÉ LA VI Singapore, celebrated for her high-energy sets that fuse disco, funk, and contemporary grooves, with performances spanning Zouk, Wonderfruit Festival, and the Singapore Grand Prix.
After Dark follows the success of last year’s W PRESENTS Singapore featuring Pippi Ciez, which marked the unveiling of the hotel’s newly transformed rooms and suites. With its transformation journey now complete, the hotel shifts its focus toward activating its refreshed spaces through music-led programming, positioning sound as a core expression of the guest experience.
“Music has always been central to the W brand globally; it’s a force that shapes culture and connection,” says Sivanesh Pillai, Music Curator at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. “With After Dark, we wanted to create a space that truly embodies our distinctive sonic identity, bringing together international talent and the local DJ community. By placing it in WOOBAR, we’re able to create an underground edge that feels unexpected for a luxury lifestyle hotel like W—and that contrast is what makes After Dark exciting. Our aim is to create nights that stay with you long after the last track fades.”
Meet Us Here at After Dark
Guests heading down for After Dark are invited to turn the evening into a full-day escape with the Meet Us Here package, which includes suite accommodation and one drink voucher per guest. The package allows guests to take the time exploring the resort’s refreshed design, which reflects Singapore’s unique interplay of cosmopolitan energy and island escape. Imagined as a tropical microcosm, the resort is sculpted with organic curves and washed in tones inspired by flora, fauna and the marina, with private balconies framing sweeping island and waterfront views. By day, guests can also find their rhythm through a curated line-up of wellbeing experiences, from AquaBoxing and Aqua Spinning with The Ripple Club to revitalising ice baths at AWAY Spa.
Early-bird tickets for the inaugural After Dark at WOOBAR, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove are priced at S$25, inclusive of one drink, while walk-in tickets are available at S$30.
