Mollie King’s Magnum Pink & Black Party

S&LC was invited to our favourite Saturday’s party with Magnum to celebrate the launch of the new Magnum Pink and Black; the two new ice creams to suit the different sides of your personality. The celeb-filled soiree saw the likes of Donna Air, Jodie Kidd, Matt Johnson and (S&LC favourite) Ricki Hall being papped and posing with the universally favoured accessory – ice cream.

Hosted by singer and fashion favourite Mollie King, who lent her flair for style to design a uniquely stylish event to bring the worlds of playful Magnum Pink and sophisticated Magnum Black to life, the event provided a glimpse into Mollie’s creative vision.

With the evening split into two luxurious experiences, in the playful Magnum Pink room we hung out in Mollie’s dreamlike floral garden scene, sipping on rose & lychee martinis and tasting smoked salmon tartare and cep-infused beetroot cubes. Over in the sophisticated Magnum Black room, we were met with a dark and brooding art deco bar scene, tasting squid ink arancini and timeless espresso martinis.

Laura Whitmore mixed tunes on the decks, while we enjoyed freshly dipped, personalised Magnums from a customised pink & black dipping bar – see ours decorated with black salt crystals, crystallised rose petals and raspberry sprinkles. Yum!

The highlight of the evening was a surprise announcement that Mollie’s Magnum Pink & Black experience, as previewed at the party, would be open to the public on London’s Regent Street on 31st May, as part of Magnum shutting down the road for a unique street party.

We’ll be heading to Regent Street next month to see the full experience… watch this space!
