Street style edit: What we wore to LFW 2018 : Nixalina

I know that London Fashion Week LOOKS like a few nice days out going to shows, but what the pictures don’t tell you is how utterly exhausting it is. In a good way, I mean. Sort of like the exhaustion you get after going to Alton Towers, or staying up past midnight for New Year (gimme a green tea and a 9.30pm bedtime any day).

There’s the queuing for one – SO MUCH QUEUEING. Imagine what it’s like standing in the fa-reezing cold for an hour and a half trying to get into a show. Light jackets were a great idea at 2pm when the sun was shining, but now it’s 6pm and the buzz of your last wine has evaporated, and your last scraps of energy are being used on trying to hide the fact that you’ve not been this cold since going out in a boob tube and no coat when you were 18.

This year, with the exception of the last day, I was dressed no less impractically than any other year. Because I never learn. But as I’m sure you’ll all agree, sometimes fashion is just more important.

And at least we were warm in the pub.

I was fan-girling over pretty much everyone within a 100 metre radius, so if you were one of the well-dressed people who saw some gormless pink-haired girl staring at you – sorry, that was probably me.
