Self-Love For Women’s Day: Gifts To Spoil Yourself

There is absolutely no reason needed to spoil yourself with pampering, self-care and gifts – but International Women’s Day and Women’s Month seems like a wonderful extra push to do so. Whether it’s the fanciful need for retail therapy or your skin is craving a facial – I’m a big believer in making yourself feel as happy as you possibly can. Let’s all go live our best lives, shall we ladies?

Check out below my personal recommendations on things to purchase to celebrate YOU:

Scent Journer – Mood Boost Duo, $285

Who do you love? You. Who deserves a mood boost? You. Who deserves two perfumes? YOU. With this special duo scent set from homegrown perfumery brand Scent Journer, you have three different fragrances to choose from, so you can select your two favourite smells and create your own perfect gift set, just for you. My favourite scent is the blooming jewel. It’s delicious!

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara & Liquid Liner, $48 and $43

Never will I ever want to use another mascara again. Bold statement, right? Well that is how I’ve felt for the past year or so since I discovered Benefit Cosmetics’ Roller Lash Mascara. I always get told my lashes look fake and asked what mascara I use. My lashes are long, thick, rich and black AND it never smudges or drops below my eyes. I’ve even worn it in the ocean doing Aqua Aerobics and not a smudge was made! I team it with my statement liquid black liner cat-eye flick, once again this product doesn’t ever smudge and lasts all day.

Manolo Blahnik Hangisi 10cm Pumps, $1890

There’s no way I could do a self-love purchase list without including my all-time favourite shoes – the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi heeled pumps. Yes, they’re not cheap. Yes, they’re absolutely worth it. Firstly, they’re SO comfortable I can wear them all day and all evening with no issues at all, and secondly they’re just stunning. I have 6 pairs and it’s a confirmed addiction at this point. No regrets here.

Trendoyl Clothing via ZALORA

I canny not lie, most of my work wardrobe is Trendoyl pieces. I cannot get enough of this brand – the fabrics are light and breezy, perfect for Singapore weather, and they always fall nicely over my curves and flatter my body shape. A mini wardrobe overhaul will make you feel like new again, especially if the price point doesnt break the bank (yay for that, Trendoyl!).

Halterneck Top $46.90, Woven Jacket $97.90, Gathered Dress $54.90 all Trendoyl via ZALORA SG.

EndyMed Face / Eye V-Lift at Ombré, $98 each

For just half hour of your time (yes, it’s lunchbreak friendly) head over to Ombre which is nestled in the heartlands of Serangoon for an epic facial pick-me-up. Both treatments are non-invasive and use the 3DEEP’s RF Technology which delivers energy deep into the dermis layer of the skin, reaching 52 – 55C with minimal epidermal heat, reducing fat and giving one a more sculpted appearance within a short amount of time. For the under-eyes, it aims to reduce under-eye bags, smooth and tighten the skin, and lift the upper eyelid for a more open eye. I was shocked at the instant results of my eye circles and heavy bags, making me look and feel fresher and younger as I walked out. Will happily go back again for this specific treatment as it worked wonders and is time-efficient, so it’s a win for all.

Furla Handbag – Metropolis Mini Crossbody, $600

A classic silhouette with the versatility to compliment any outfit, the Metropolis Minis are a wardrobe staple. The bags feature both soft and mute as well as bright as fun colours that welcome the Spring and Summer seasons, making them versatile accessories to compliment any outfit.

The bag can be personalised thanks to its removable flap, which can be replaced with designs in different materials to suit your own style – for a distinctive new look every time. Featured in 5 shades: marshmallow, zest, minty, emerald, and violet, each bag retails at SGD 600 at Furla stores or online here.

LELO Sona 2 Clit Stimulator, $135.15

Would it be a listicle of my favourite things if I didn’t include a vibrator? No, no it wouldn’t. Self-pleasure at it’s finest, a vibrator should be every girl’s best friend. I own many, but just adore the suction toys such as Sona 2 listed here, that replicate someone sucking on your clit. It is DAMN GOOD. Don’t take my word for it, buy and try yourself (and thank me later!).
