K-9 Angels Launch Night for BBK-9 Boot

Established to raise funds for dogs all over the world, K-9 Angels was founded in 2011 by glamorous trio of friends and animal-lovers, the TV presenter Anneka Tanaka, singer Pola Pospieszalska and model Victoria Eisermann.

In just three years, K-9 Angels has funded shelters, provided food and medical supplies, while picking up a celebrity following including dog-owner Simon Cowell, and founder of the Born Free Foundation, Will Travers, to name just a few.

I actually met these inspirational women at different times, many years ago.  Pola was one of my singers who graced the stage for my very first Sex & London City launch night.  I met Victoria at the Big Brother auditions and in both cases I instantly clicked with these women.  It was only after I added them on Facebook did I realise they were, together, the K-9 Angels.  I cannot put into words how much of an inspiration these are to me.  They work tirelessly, 24/7, to try save dogs in Romania and other parts of the world.  I can’t imagine what they’ve seen first hand but whilst many would be swallowed up emotionally and unable to continue, these angels push through and become more determined to end animal cruelty.  We’re all made of the stuff – a feeling of duty to try help those defenceless creatures that are abused / tortured / killed at the hands of humans. If you decide only ever to support one charity, the K-9 Angels would be it.

A heartfelt evening was spent with the K-9 Angels and Bourgeois Boheme at the launch of the exclusive limited edition boot BBK-9. The exclusive launch was held at the opulent Beaufort House in Chelsea with Made in Chelsea star Ashley James, along with Fifi Geldof and her cute rescue dog Lola there to lend their support to the launch and spread awareness of the plight of dogs around the world.

Alicia Lai, founder of Bourgeois Boheme and K-9 Angels founders Victoria Eisermann and Pola Pospieszalska unveiled the glamorous boot. A short movie was shown to highlight the K-9 Angels work saving dogs and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Guests were not only treated to compassionate culinary vegan treats of wine, nibbles, cupcakes but enjoyed magnificent live performances of rock to opera by Marzena Rychlik, Marcin Mroziński and Angela Molineux. Alicia, Pola and Victoria were touched by all the support on the night. Showcasing ethical alternatives in fashion with BBK-9 and through this collaboration, the ladies highlight that this is just one way to work together to make a positive impact that reaches far beyond footwear.
